How does WhatsApp work without me registering a number?
Tokkin uses its own verified number on the official Meta WhatsApp Business API. Reminders go out from that number and your borrowers get them without you having to register, configure or expose your personal WhatsApp.
Is my data and my borrowers' data secure?
Everything is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Servers are in Europe (Hetzner). We never sell or share your data with third parties, and we comply with GDPR and LGPD.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Tokkin is built for unstable connectivity: you can log borrowers, loans and payments even with no signal, and everything syncs automatically the moment the phone is back online.
What happens if I outgrow the free plan?
If you exceed 10 borrowers or 20 loans, Tokkin tells you and invites you to upgrade to Pro. Your data stays intact: we don't delete anything if you don't upgrade, you just can't create new records until you do.
Can I export my data if I cancel?
Yes. Pro and Business plans include exporting your entire portfolio, borrowers and payments to PDF and Excel any time. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period so you can export.
Is Tokkin a financial institution?
No. Tokkin is a software (SaaS) tool so you can manage your own loan portfolio. We don't grant loans, we don't intermediate between you and your borrowers, and we are not a party to your contracts.
Can I use Tokkin in multiple countries or currencies?
Yes. Tokkin detects each lender's country and currency, formats amounts with the correct separators, and works in any country where WhatsApp Business is available.
How do I cancel my subscription?
From the App Store or Google Play settings, in a couple of taps. Your subscription stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
